Counseling and Education

I'm Erin LeTellier, and I help highly sensitive, neurodivergent youth and young adults overcome anxiety and feel at home in their bodies

Originally motivated by my own struggle with being a highly sensitive person in a fast-paced world, I have dedicated my personal and professional life to finding ways of mastering the balance of physical, emotional, and mental health in sustainable ways.

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH 60955881) with a masters in Counseling Psychology and over 10 yrs of experience working with neurodivergent people of all ages.

In addition to higher education, I've worked with many wonderful teachers over the past 15 yrs to explore healing modalities including Cross-Cultural Shamanism, Reiki, Massage Therapy (MA 60255388), Craniosacral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, EMDR, HeartMath Biofeedback Techniques, Energy Medicine, Advanced Meditation with Dr. Joe Dispenza, and ongoing education from master teacher, Sri Sakthi Amma, in India.

In addition to academic pursuits, I'm passionate about learning through the experience of travel. I've lived in four different countries and traveled to 28 (and counting!)

I love immersing myself in different cultures, and believe diversity to be one of life's greatest teachers.

I first entered the world of healing arts as a patient, and through the process of healing my mind and body found the calling to share what I've learned with others on this journey. I believe in the power and resilience of the human body and our capacity to heal.

Wherever you may be in your own process of healing, it's my honor to support you in achieving your goals.

Work With Me

Counseling for Children, Teens & Young Adults (ages 5-25)

Counseling is a place to process emotional difficulties or behavioral concerns. It's also a place to learn and grow. My job as a counselor is to listen and observe without judgement, to provide guidance and structure, and to share outside perspective that you may not have considered.

Counseling FAQS

How do I know if counseling is right for me or my child?

Counseling is extra support - if you or your family could use more support dealing with emotional or behavioral issues then counseling is right for you.

How many counseling sessions do I need?

In my experience, it's important to start with consistent, weekly sessions. This helps with a number of things including building trust and safety in the therapeutic relationship, learning and remembering coping skills, and reducing anxiety.

It's important to acknowledge that therapy is not meant to be a "quick fix". While everyone is different, it's realistic to plan on 6-12 months (or more) of counseling before reducing the frequency of sessions or taking a break from therapy all together. Therapy is a commitment to yourself - the more you put into it, the more you will get out.

Do you take insurance?

I'm out of network with all insurance companies and am unable to bill your insurance directly.

I can provide you with Superbills (detailed receipts) for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

*Please check with your insurance plan for information on your out of network benefits before starting counseling so you don't get stuck with any unexpected expenses!

Payments are handled online and are due on the day of service.

All clients are asked to keep a credit card on file with my online system, SimplePractice. Your card is automatically charged at the end of the day on days you have sessions.

Superbills are auto-populated by SimplePractice and emailed to you on the 2nd of every month.

What's the first step in getting started?

Email me to inquire about availability and schedule a free 15 min phone consult.

This gives us a chance to talk briefly, and I can answer questions you might have about therapy and how to get started.

If we agree it's a good fit, I'll send you new client forms to complete online. Once all forms have been completed we can schedule a first session.

All sessions are 60 min and are available in person (on Bainbridge Island) or via Telehealth.

Can we do Telehealth if I'm in a different State?

Due to licensing restrictions, I'm only able to conduct Telehealth sessions with clients located in WA State.

One of the reasons I'm creating the Online Course for Empaths is to be able to provide an on demand resource for Empaths that is available to anyone, in any part of the world!
